At Rosaryville Stables, you can relax knowing that your horse is receiving exceptional care from experienced professionals. New horses are screened for health and disposition to find their perfect pasture companions. Horses are examined each day for any issues when returning from their pastures. Feet are picked daily, legs washed of any mud in winter, and horses showered if needed on hot summer days. Our pastures are fertilized, seeded when necessary, and subjected to 12-week rotations, which keeps the grass lush all year. Fields are picked weekly, mowed bi-weekly, and fresh 2nd cutting orchard hay is also available from hay nets. Horses are checked four times a day and blankets exchanged to assure they remain comfortable in Winter with temperature fluctuations. A boarder listserve communicates helpful information including any changes to the normal routine because of weather, farrier and vet reminders, hunt club and other events in Rosaryville State Park, jumping extravaganza sessions in the in-door arena, and group trail riding opportunities.
